Honda has unveiled the 2026 CB1000F Roadster, a neo-retro motorcycle. Based on the CB1000 Hornet platform, the new model pays tribute to Honda’s classic CB line while delivering the performance and technology
expected from a modern litre-class roadster.
The CB1000F draws heavy inspiration from the AMA-spec CB750F of the early 1980s. It features a single round LED headlamp, sculpted fuel tank, and minimalist tail section. The tank graphics and chrome-finished exhaust further add to its old-school character, while the seamless flow from the tank to the seat and side panels maintains a cohesive, heritage-inspired look.

Powering the CB1000F is a 998cc inline-four engine derived from the CBR1000RR Fireblade. It produces 122 hp at 9,000rpm and 103Nm at 8,000rpm. Honda has revised the camshafts and intake system to offer a smoother torque delivery and a distinctive exhaust note. The engine’s tuning focuses on usable power across the rev range, making it suitable for both city and highway riding.
The chassis setup includes 41mm Showa SFF-BP upside-down forks and an adjustable Pro-Link rear monoshock. Braking duties are handled by four-piston radial-mounted callipers gripping 310mm floating discs up front.
The CB1000F also introduces a strong electronics package. A six-axis IMU enables Cornering ABS and traction control, while the Throttle By Wire system offers three riding modes along with two customisable user settings. A five-inch TFT display with Honda RoadSync connectivity allows smartphone integration for calls, music, and navigation.

Select body components, such as the rear fender and seat base, use pre-consumer recycled materials. The brand also offers a range of accessory packs: Sport, Comfort, and Travel. The CB1000F will be offered in three colour combinations: Wolf Silver Metallic with Blue Stripe, Wolf Silver Metallic with Grey Stripe, and Graphite Black with Red Stripe.
