Hero MotoCorp
Hero MotoCorp continued to dominate India’s two-wheeler landscape in January 2026, reporting total dispatches of about 5.58 lakh units. This marks approximately 26% year-on-year growth compared to January 2025. Last year, it sold about 4.43 lakh units. Domestic sales accounted for more than 5.20 lakh units, with motorcycles contributing the bulk of volumes and scooters showing strong relative growth. Models across commuter and 125cc+ segments kept the brand’s volume leadership intact, with steady registrations and a broad retail network supporting consistent demand.
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India
Honda was among the key performers in January 2026, posting significant retail and dispatch figures. The brand delivered a total of over 5.74 lakh units during the month. This comprises about 5.20 lakh units of domestic sales and 54,832 units of exports. HMSI has recorded 29% YoY sales growth compared to the same period last year. The Activa scooter and popular 125cc motorcycles maintained strong momentum and supported Honda’s position among the top five brands.
TVS Motor Company
TVS Motor Company demonstrated sustained sales growth in January 2026, with total volumes rising around 29% year-on-year. The bikemaker dispatched a total of about 3.84 lakh units last month, compared to roughly 2.94 lakh units last year. Both motorcycles and scooters drove this performance, with models like the TVS Jupiter and Raider lines contributing to expanded market share.
Royal Enfield
Royal Enfield reported more than 1.04 lakh units sold in January 2026, growing around 14% year-on-year. Domestic sales stood at 93,781 units, which was 16% more than 81,052 units sold in January 2025. The brand also announced it surpassed 10 lakh units year-to-date (YTD) across cumulative sales after achieving robust month-end figures. Royal Enfield’s mid-capacity motorcycles, particularly in the 350cc and higher segments, helped sustain domestic and export growth, highlighting continued interest in premium motorcycle categories.

Suzuki Motorcycle India
Suzuki Motorcycle India reported consistent growth in January 2026, with nearly 1.22 lakh units sold, a 26% increase over last year’s figure of 96,804 units. Scooters such as the Access 125 and Burgman continued to attract buyers in family and commuter segments, while motorcycle volumes added to the overall tally.
