The interior of the Tata Tiago EV has been revealed ahead of the launch on May 28, 2026. Given it's a mid-life refresh, Tata has addressed key concerns to make its hatchback more relevant in the competitive segment. The cabin now feels fresher and more premium. From revised upholstery to a new steering wheel, the facelifted Tiago EV targets comfort and convenience without drastically altering the formula that has worked well for the model so far. Here's a closer look at what's new inside the 2026 Tata Tiago EV.
New Dashboard Layout With Twin Screens
The 2026 Tata Tiago EV gets the same redesigned dashboard layout seen on its new ICE counterpart. The new dashboard has a flatter design, and now sits slightly lower. There are two tablet-style screens placed on top of it. The usage of fabric
material around the screen area on the dashboard makes the cabin feels softer and less plastic-heavy. Tata has also retained physical AC controls and switches, and this makes the cabin easier to use on the move.
Revised Cabin Details And Upholstery
The cabin gets simple-looking seats, and there are no darker contrasting sections that were earlier present on the upper portion. Instead of the leatherette finish from the older model, the updated electric hatchback now uses fabric material. The steering wheel also features the new Tata.ev logo. The power window buttons are also new.
360-Degree Camera And Rear AC Vents Added
The facelifted model comes equipped with a 360-degree camera, which is a premium feature that we rarely see in this segment. The bigger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system is still present, but the hatch now sports AC vents at the rear to improve comfort for back passengers.

2026 Tata Tiago EV Battery, Price
The facelifted Tata Tiago EV is expected to continue with the same battery pack options as the outgoing model (19.2kWh and 24kWh). With the inclusion of a 360-degree camera and other cabin upgrades, the 2026 version of the Tiago EV could fetch a considerable premium over the existing model, which starts at Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
