Maruti Suzuki has officially commenced global exports of its mid-size SUV Victoris, which will be marketed overseas under the badge ‘Across’. The car is planned
to be exported to over 100 countries and regions, with Latin America, Middle East and Africa as the key regions for export. Victoris will be globally sold as ‘Across’. "Over 450 vehicles have set sail from Mundra and Pipavav ports for global markets. The SUV, which embodies the brand's 'Got It All' philosophy, will be globally sold as 'Across'," Maruti Suzuki said in an exchange filing on Friday, January 16.
"Engineered as a truly modern SUV, VICTORIS combines intelligent technology and indulgent comfort with futuristic styling. The SUV has demonstrated global safety credentials, earning a 5-star safety rating in both Global NCAP and Bharat NCAP. Besides this, the Made-in-India SUV was also showcased to international audience at the Japan Mobility Show 2025," the company further said.
Speaking on the development, Hisashi Takeuchi, MD and CEO, Maruti Suzuki India, said, "Maruti Suzuki's export journey is guided by the vision of Make in India, Make for the World. In calendar year 2025, with exports of over 3.9 lakh vehicles, we emerged as India's number one passenger vehicle exporter for the fifth year in a row. The year also marked our re-entry into Europe with the start of exports of our first Battery Electric Vehicle, e VITARA."
"If we look at growth of India's passenger vehicle exports in the past five years from CY2020 to CY2025, while the rest of industry grew by 1.43 times, Maruti Suzuki exports grew by 4.67 times. The addition of VICTORIS will further support our export ambitions, and we are hopeful it will be well received in international markets," he added.

The Maruti Suzuki Victoris has the same powertrain and drivetrain choices as the Grand Vitara. You can purchase the Victoris with a chain of two powertrain choices a 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol engine and a 1.5L strong-hybrid configuration.The Victoris will produces 103 Hp and 139 Nm of torque. There are two transmission options available with this engine - a 5-speed manual transmission and a 6-speed automatic transmission. Additionally, you can choose to have a factory-installed CNG kit as well.
Maruti Suzuki does have the option of an all-wheel drive layout with automatic transmission. The 1.5L strong-hybrid configuration, derived from the Grand Vitara, generates 92.5 Hp and 122 Nm of torque, and is connected to an e-CVT gearbox.
Moreover, Victoris is Maruti’s first model in India to feature level 2 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), offering functions such as autonomous emergency braking, lane centering, and adaptive cruise control. Safety features will also include six airbags as standard.
