MG Hector facelift
JSW MG Motor India has launched the 2026 MG Hector facelift, priced from ₹11.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Currently available only with a petrol engine, the updated Hector is offered in five-seat and seven-seat configurations. Diesel variants and a six-seat version are expected to be introduced in 2026.
Powering the SUV is the familiar 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine, producing 143hp and 250Nm of torque, paired with either a manual transmission or a CVT.
Tata Sierra
Tata Motors has opened bookings for the all-new Sierra, with deliveries scheduled to commence from 15 January 2026. The midsize SUV will be available in seven variants: Smart+, Pure, Pure+, Adventure, Adventure+, Accomplished and Accomplished+. Prices for the range-topping Sierra Accomplished+ start at ₹21.29 lakh (ex-showroom).
Maruti Suzuki WagonR
Maruti Suzuki has introduced a swivel seat option for the WagonR, aimed at improving accessibility for senior citizens and people with disabilities. This initiative is among the few by a mass-market manufacturer in India to integrate assistive mobility features into a high-volume, affordable vehicle.
Importantly, the swivel seat does not replace the original factory-fitted seat and can be installed without affecting the vehicle’s structure or core mechanical systems. The solution was developed in partnership with Bengaluru-based TRUEAssist Technology Private Limited under Maruti Suzuki’s start-up incubation programme with NSRCEL at IIM Bangalore.
KTM 160 Duke
Following its launch in August 2025, KTM India has introduced a new variant of the KTM 160 Duke featuring an expanded equipment list. Priced at ₹1,78,536 (ex-showroom), the new variant sits above the existing base model and comes equipped with a five-inch colour TFT instrument cluster.
Mechanically, the motorcycle remains unchanged, continuing with the 164cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine.
Bajaj Pulsar 220F
Bajaj Auto has launched the Pulsar 220F in India at a starting price of ₹1.28 lakh (ex-showroom). The latest iteration receives cosmetic updates while retaining its existing mechanical setup.
The semi-faired motorcycle now features two new colour options — Black with Copper Beige accents and Green Light with Copper accents — offered alongside the existing Black with Cherry Red and Black with Ink Blue schemes. All other components, including the fuel tank, side panels and tail section, remain unchanged.
Triumph Thruxton 400
Triumph Motorcycles has launched the Thruxton 400 in the UK, with prices starting at GBP 5,995 (approximately ₹7.25 lakh). The model debuts alongside its sibling, the new Tracker 400, expanding Triumph’s 400cc Modern Classics line-up.
The Thruxton 400 was first launched in India in August 2025. It is powered by a 398cc liquid-cooled engine producing 41.5bhp at 9,000rpm and a peak torque of 37.5Nm at 7,000rpm.
