Punjab held their nerve in a tense chase to seal a thrilling victory by three wickets. After restricting the opposition to a competitive total, Punjab's innings was anchored brilliantly by Cooper Connolly, whose composed unbeaten knock of 72 proved to be the difference. He found solid support from Prabhsimran Singh, who provided early momentum with an aggressive 37. The pair appeared to be cruising to victory, however they suffered a middle-order wobble triggered by Prasidh Krishna's three-wicket burst, Punjab kept their composure in the closing stages. Late contributions from the lower order ensured the chase stayed on track, finishing the game in the final over with just three wickets in hand. Cooper Connolly is the Player of the Match for his brilliant performance.
