The Honest Advice

If you can get into an IIM or FMS — go. The ROI is almost guaranteed. If you are looking at colleges outside the top 10, compare fees vs placement ruthlessly. A Rs. 8 lakh MBA with Rs. 12 lakh average placement is a far better deal than a Rs. 20 lakh MBA with Rs. 14 lakh placement. The brand name matters — but only if the numbers back it up.

Placement figures are approximate based on publicly available 2024–25 data. Always verify with official placement reports.
