Eve Air Mobility, a company spun off from Embraer, is set to conduct the first flight of its air taxi prototype in December. The prototype features a design with eight lifting props and a tail-mounted pusher prop, capable of a range of approximately 54 nautical miles. The company aims to have the air taxi certified by aviation regulators by 2027. Embraer, which holds an 83% stake in Eve, continues to provide development and certification support. The air taxi was showcased as a mock-up at the Paris Air Show in June.
