Tori Vlcek, a sophomore at Oswego East, has emerged as a key player for the school's volleyball team. Despite being younger than most of her teammates, Vlcek has brought valuable experience and ideas to the team, having played on high-level volleyball teams previously. In their season opener against Waubonsie Valley, Vlcek contributed significantly with four kills, helping her team secure a 25-15, 25-23 victory. Coach Dina Beamon recognized Vlcek's potential early on and integrated her into the varsity team, which returns seven players, including four starters.
