LSU football has bolstered its quarterback roster by adding walk-on players Emile Picarella and Tre People for the 2025 season. Picarella, a three-star recruit from University Lab High School in Baton Rouge, was ranked as the No. 83 quarterback in the country. Despite having opportunities to accept scholarships from other programs, Picarella chose to play for LSU. Tre People, another three-star recruit, was ranked as the No. 159 quarterback and was recruited from California. He had offers from UNLV and Portland State but opted to join LSU.
