the toss, the Men in Blue lost Shubman Gill early but Abhishek Sharma displayed mettle and collected runs at a brisk pace. Riding on his quick 38 off 15, India were 72/2 after 71. Overs. Abhishek lost his wicket against Jitenkumar Ramanandi and Hardik Pandya came at the crease to support Sanju Samson.
However, after two deliveries, Samson played a straight shot towards Ramanandi, who strove to stop the ball but it touched his hand and hit the stumps. Hardik Pandya, who was out of the crease to steal a run, got disappointed as his time as a batter ended in the contest. The 31-year-old departed after scoring only one off one.

Patel’s innings included four boundaries (three fours and a maximum).
However, before entering the Super 4 round, the reigning champions will be concerned about Shubman Gill’s form. After failing to be effective against Pakistan, Gill was expected to shine with his bat against Oman but the 26-year-old could score only five off eight against the associate team.
