Canara Bank Begins Recruitment For 3500 Apprentice Posts, Graduates Can Apply

training across various states and union territories in India. The official notification is available on the Canara Bank website at canarabank.bank.in.

Candidates must register on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal at nats.education.gov.in before applying. Only online applications submitted through the official Canara Bank website will be accepted.

The selection process involves a merit list, a local language test, document verification, and a medical fitness test. The apprenticeship training period is 12 months, with selected candidates receiving a stipend of Rs 15,000 per month, Rs 10,500 from Canara Bank, and Rs 4,500 from the government via direct benefit transfer (DBT).

Canara Bank Apprentice Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: Graduation in any discipline from a University recognised by the Govt. of India or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Central Government. Candidates must have passed their graduation not earlier than 01.01.2022 and not later than 01.09.2025 (both days inclusive).

Age Limit: Candidates must be aged between 20 and 28 years as of September 1, 2025, that is, born between 01.09.1997 and 01.09.2005 (both days inclusive). Age relaxations apply for reserved categories such as SC/ST, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), PwBD candidates, widows or divorced women, and riot-affected persons, as per government norms.

Canara Bank Apprentice Recruitment 2025: Application Fee

The application fee is Rs 500 for candidates except for SC/ST/PwBD categories, for whom the fee is waived.

Step 1: Visit the official website at canarabank.com.

Step 2: Complete your profile on the NATS Apprenticeship portal at nats.education.gov.in and obtain an enrolment ID.

Step 3: Fill out the form. Pay the application fee.

Step 4: Upload the required scanned documents, including photograph, signature, left thumb impression, and handwritten declaration.

Step 5: Submit the application form, and take a printout for future reference.
