Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday met Defence Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh in the aftermath of the Pahalgam attack that left 26 dead. The meeting comes only a day after the Prime Minister met Air
Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh and two days after meeting with Admiral Dinesh K. Tripathi, Chief of the Naval Staff.
PM Modi has vowed strict action against the terrorists and assured justice to the victims of the attack. He has also been holding several high-level meetings in the wake of the attack.
India has also taken several strong measures against Pakistan in response to the attack.
Earlier on Sunday, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh also pledged a strong response to the terrorists and said, “As a defence minister, it is my responsibility to ensure the security of the country’s borders along with my soldiers. It is my responsibility to give a befitting reply to those who dare to attack our country.”
