The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has released the detailed date sheet for the Class 10 (secondary) and Class 12 (senior secondary) public examinations scheduled for 2025. According to the notification,
the theory exams will start on October 14, 2025, at designated centres across India and overseas locations.
The official schedule indicates that the theory exams for both Class 10 and Class 12 will conclude on November 18, 2025. The institute has confirmed that once published, the theory exam date sheet will not be altered.
Registered students can access their admit cards or hall tickets three-four days before the public exams commence. These can be downloaded through the student login section on the official NIOS website — sdmis.nios.ac.in.

The board has also announced that the results of the September-October 2025 theory exams will be declared within seven weeks after the exams conclude. However, no individual queries regarding the exact date of result declaration will be entertained. The results will be published directly on the NIOS portal. The Mark-Sheet-cum-Certificate and Migration-cum-Transfer Certificate will be issued to successful candidates directly through their respective accredited institutions.
