to be flashy, it thrives in honesty, friendship, and simple moments.

Speaking in a special Valentine’s Day conversation with Times Entertainment, Saif and Kareena shared how they celebrate the day. “We don’t plan grand gestures. We watch a movie, stay at home, lounge on the couch, and have a night in with pizza and some great wine or Chinese food,” Saif said. Kareena added, “If we’re together and unhurried, that’s enough celebration.” On gifts, Saif revealed, “I like to gift her when it feels right. Not just because the calendar says so,” while Kareena appreciated thoughtful gestures.

Love Built on Friendship and Honesty

The couple first met on the sets of Tashan, and though the film wasn’t a hit, their personal bond blossomed. “We didn’t fall in love trying to impress anyone. We were working, talking, arguing, laughing, and one day it just became obvious,” Saif recalled. Kareena emphasized, “We chose each other as people first. Everything else came later.”

Friendship remains central to their romance. “He’s still the person I want to gossip with at the end of the day,” Kareena said. Saif added, “And she’s the first person I want to share things with, good or bad.” When asked who is more romantic, Saif promptly replied, “She is!” highlighting their playful dynamics.

Parenthood and Perspective: Raising Taimur and Jeh

Life as parents to Taimur and Jeh has brought new perspectives. Kareena explained, “What’s changed is perspective. What hasn’t changed is comfort. He is home!” Saif said, “There’s no pretending. That’s a luxury in itself. The ease of being around someone is the best leisure. Life is full of chores, love can’t be one of them. We just get each other without words.”

Playful Banter and Everyday Love

In a light-hearted question-and-answer session with vogue India, the couple also revealed their fun side. Saif jokingly claimed he would survive a zombie apocalypse to protect his family, while Kareena teased him for his sense of humour and praised his domestic contributions.

Married in 2012, Saif and Kareena balance family life and their careers, with Kareena’s thriller Daayra and Saif’s Netflix action film Kartavya coming up.
