When BTS’ golden maknae, aka Jungkook, made his way to the New York Fashion Week (NYFW) Spring/Summer 2026, he made sure that every eye was on him. It was his first solo appearance following his discharge
from the military in June after all. The K-pop idol was in the city to attend the Calvin Klein fashion show, held at The Brant Foundation on September 12, and he truly became the centre of attention the moment he arrived.
As soon as the 28-year-old singer and songwriter stepped out of his car, fans erupted into loud cheers that echoed across the street. And it wasn’t just Jungkook’s fashion that sent ARMY into a frenzy. It was his small yet meaningful gesture of respect. As seen in clips captured by fans, he was seen getting out of the car and immediately lowering his head in a polite bow towards the fans who had been waiting for hours to catch a glimpse of him.
Instead of rushing past the cameras or heading straight inside, Jungkook turned in every direction and bowed multiple times to greet the crowd. Before heading into the venue, he even gave them a little wave with an adorable smile on his face. Obviously, fans couldn’t help but gush over his sweet gesture as always.

Jungkook Wore A Tailored Suit To Calvin Klein Fashion Show
For the event, Jungkook, known for his charisma, walked in wearing a tailored beige suit, comprising a shirt, a jacket with double lapels, and matching loose-fitting pants, paired with a bold statement necklace that highlighted his sharp styling. Fans also couldn’t help but notice the peek of his extended chest tattoo beneath the blazer and his distinctive facial piercings, including his much-talked-about chin pin. However, it wasn’t just his look that sent his fans into a complete frenzy.
What’s Next For BTS’ Jungkook?
Following his military discharge, Jungkook reunited with his BTS bandmates. Together, the septet is working on their new album. They even spend two months in Los Angeles, working on their new album with international producers and music composers. The album is scheduled to be released in 2026 and will be followed by a worldwide tour.
Besides this, Jungkook is also set to return on-screen alongside Jimin with the second season of their travel reality show, Are You Sure?! The duo filmed the show in Switzerland and Vietnam right after their discharge from the military in June.
