to know about the actors’ next projects. Now, Pinkvilla has reported that Ahaan has signed his second project with Aditya Chopra, and that it will be an action romance directed by Ali Abbas Zafar- the man behind blockbusters such as Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai.
Ahaan Panday’s Next Project With Ali Abbas Zafar?
A source informed the entertainment portal that director Ali Abbas Zafar has been developing an action romance with Aditya Chopra as his next directorial. “Ali has won over the audience with brilliant dramas like Sultan, and even in an action film like Tiger Zinda Hai, he made the storytelling gripping due to the drama that he infused in the scenes. Ali wanted to go back to his roots, to the genre that has given him so much love with his next film. He was blown away seeing Ahaan Panday and his aura with emotional and dramatic scenes in Saiyaara,” said the source.
As per the report, it was Aditya Chopra who recommended that Ali cast Ahaan in the film, believing that a fresh face would bring an element of surprise for the audience. He believes that the Saiyaara star’s underexposure is actually his biggest advantage, and that after the film’s success, fans will be even mire curious and excited to know about his next move.
“Adi and Ali will unlock a totally different side to Ahaan’s acting in this yet untitled film by putting him into a new world where intense passion, romance and action meets hard-hitting drama,” said the source. The report further states that the script has been finalized and that the music-seatings have already begun. The film will reportedly go on floors around the first quarter of 2026.

This film will mark Aditya Chopra and Ali Abbas Zafar’s fifth collaboration after Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, Gunday, Sultan, and Tiger Zinda Hai.
Ali Abbas Zafar has also directed Bloody Daddy, Jogi, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Bharat, and the 2021 web series Tandav.
