Mrunal Thakur's wedding rumours with Dhanush spread like wildfire on the internet after an AI video went viral. In the video, both were seen dressed in traditional
wedding outfits while Ajith Kumar, Trisha, Anirudh Ravichander and others appeared to be the guests. However, netizens were quick to find out that it was an AI-generated clip. Now, in a media interview, Mrunal reacted to her wedding rumours with Dhanush. Speaking to a portal, the actress dismissed the speculation, stating that she isn't aware who started the speculations.

In an interview with Galatta Plus, Mrunal was asked about her February 14 wedding rumours. Responding to this, the actress said, "Me? Nope. Because I don't know who started this. I think February 14 is going to be April 1 which is April Fools day. First of all, I have been quoted. I never said anything. They just said Mrunal said so. It's a scary space right now."
For the unaware, Mrunal is rumoured to be in a relationship with Dhanush for a while now. The Bollywood actress had earlier denied her relationship rumours with the Captain Miller actor. Having said that, Dhanush hasn't commented on his dating speculations with the actress yet.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Mrunal will next be seen in Do Deewane Seher Mein with Siddhant Chaturvedi. The romantic drama, directed by Ravi Udyawar, is scheduled for a big screen release on February 20, 2026. While Siddhant will be seen as Shashank, Mrunal essays the character of Roshni. Apart from them, the supporting star cast includes Ayesha Raza, Ila Arun, Joy Sengupta, Naveen Kaushik, Achint Kaur, and others.
After Do Deewane Seher Mein, the actress has Dacoit with Adivi Sesh lined up for a theatrical release. She will also be seen in Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai with Varun Dhawan and Mouni Roy.
Dhanush's work front
Talking about Dhanush, the actor was last seen in Aanand L Rai's Tere Ishk Mein with Kriti Sanon. Despite opened to mixed reviews, the film did a good business at the box office. Up next, the actor will be seen in director Vignesh Raja's Kara. He will reportedly be seen alongside Mamintha Baiju, Jayaram, K S Ravikumar and others.
The actor also has D55 with Sreeleela lined up in the pipeline. It is going to be directed by Amaran director Rajkumar Periasamy.
