Jr NTR Applauds Rishab Shetty's Kantara Chapter 1

On his X account, Jr NTR commended the film, labeling it a major hit. He also praised Rishab Shetty's performance, noting that he achieved the extraordinary. The tweet stated, "Kudos to the team of #KantaraChapter1 for achieving such a remarkable success. @shetty_rishab sir accomplished the extraordinary by shining both as an incredible actor and a talented director. During the film's pre-release event, Jr NTR discussed Rishab Shetty's dedication to the project, saying, "I had the chance to witness firsthand the immense effort he put into creating Kantara Chapter 1. Crafting Kantara Chapter 1 is no small feat. You may have seen it on social media. He took me to a temple close to his hometown, where you have to traverse water to access it. There’s no established path to the temple; they created one because they set up a location there for filming. It’s nearly impossible. If it weren’t for Rishab sir and the team that believed in him, I truly doubt anything would have been feasible for Kantara Chapter 1.”

Ticket Price Increase For Kantara Chapter 1

Prior to the film's debut, the Andhra Pradesh government has taken a progressive step by approving an increase in ticket prices for the Kannada film Kantara Chapter -1, which is directed and starred in by Rishab Shetty.

According to the announcement, ticket prices in single-screen theaters have risen by Rs. 75 plus GST, while the increase is Rs. 100 plus GST in multiplexes. The new prices are Rs. 236 for single screens and Rs. 295 for multiplexes. The updated rates will also apply to tomorrow’s premiere shows and will remain in effect until October 11.
Kantara: Chapter 1, written and directed by Rishab Shetty, is produced by Vijay Kiragandur and Chaluve Gowda under Hombale Films. Serving as a prequel to the 2022 film Kantara, the narrative explores the deeper roots of the traditions and ancestral conflicts introduced in the original film.
