has launched a dedicated doorstep service network specifically for its electric SUV range. This innovative approach utilizes specialized mobile service units, referred to as e-Vans, which are essentially fully equipped mini-workshops on wheels. These e-Vans are designed to travel directly to customers' homes or workplaces, bringing essential services directly to them. This includes routine maintenance tasks, thorough vehicle washing, and the capability to perform minor repairs, thereby reducing the necessity for owners to bring their vehicles into traditional service centers for every requirement. The e-Vans are outfitted with advanced features such as integrated battery packs and chargers, hydraulic scissor lifts for easy access, wheel balancing equipment, and comprehensive car care facilities.

Expanding Service Footprint

The deployment of these innovative e-Vans is initially concentrated across the Delhi-NCR area, with plans already in motion for a broader rollout. The company intends to strategically position multiple e-Vans throughout the region to maximize coverage and accessibility for its electric SUV clientele. Beyond the initial launch, there's a clear vision to extend this convenient doorstep service to other prominent cities across the country in the near future. A new, expansive training facility, the Mahindra Institute of Learning Excellence Centre, spanning 26,000 square feet, has been established in the region. This state-of-the-art center is dedicated to upskilling professionals across various crucial automotive domains, including sales, mechanical servicing, and bodywork operations. The objective is to equip service personnel with the advanced skills required to proficiently handle Mahindra's increasingly sophisticated and technology-rich portfolio of electric SUVs and conventional SUVs. This initiative is designed to meet the sophisticated expectations of a discerning and evolving customer base. Furthermore, the company is actively increasing its physical service infrastructure by adding five new service touchpoints within Delhi-NCR. These new locations collectively enhance the company’s service capacity by an equivalent of 70 working bays, a move aimed at ensuring prompt servicing and reducing vehicle turnaround times for all customers.
