The librarians assessed the AI's ability to answer 30 challenging research questions, focusing on common AI blind spots such as trivia, specialized sources, recent events, built-in bias, and image recognition. Google AI Mode emerged as the most reliable, particularly in handling recent events and trivia, while Meta AI and Grok performed poorly due to inadequate web search capabilities.
