BlackSky has announced an expansion of its partnership with HEO, an Australian space domain awareness company, through a seven-figure deal. This partnership involves integrating BlackSky's non-Earth imaging (NEI) services into HEO's sensor network. The collaboration allows HEO's software platform, HEO Inspect, to autonomously task BlackSky's Gen-2 satellites to deliver non-Earth imagery and metadata. This expansion leverages BlackSky's satellite capacity during periods when they are not imaging Earth.
