Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (IOH), in collaboration with Cisco, has launched a new security operations center (SOC) in Indonesia. This center is designed to deliver AI-powered threat detection in real-time across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. The SOC aims to protect sensitive national data under Indonesian jurisdiction, enabling businesses and government agencies to detect and respond to threats more efficiently. It is the first local deployment of the Splunk Cloud Platform and Splunk Enterprise Security in Indonesia. The initiative is part of a broader effort to secure the digital economy and infrastructure, with a focus on AI-related cybersecurity incidents, which have affected 91% of Indonesian organizations in the past year.

Additionally, the SOC will provide security services to over 10,000 small and medium enterprises (SMEs), helping them strengthen their digital defenses. The Indonesian SOC as a service market is expected to grow, driven by government initiatives and the increasing adoption of AI-based cybersecurity solutions.
