SANY, a Chinese heavy equipment manufacturer, has commenced construction of a 10 MW photovoltaic power plant in Zimbabwe. This project marks SANY's first solar initiative in Zimbabwe and the first in Africa to utilize its 'EP+F' business model, which integrates engineering, procurement, and financing. The plant will feature high-efficiency PV modules and advanced inverters, expected to generate 18 million kWh annually upon completion by the end of 2025. This initiative aims to alleviate power shortages and provide reliable electricity to local industries and communities.
