Sweden and Finland Acquire Advanced Radios to Combat Jamming and Interception

Sweden and Finland have ordered Cognitive Networked High Frequency (CNHF) manpack radios from KNL, designed to resist jamming and interception. These portable HF transceivers operate across a wide frequency range and utilize cognitive wideband HF waveforms to adapt to spectrum conditions. The radios support over 4,000 HF and VHF channels simultaneously and feature automatic frequency hopping to establish new links quickly when interference is detected. They are equipped to function in GNSS-denied environments and include electronic counter-countermeasures, integrating into C4ISR networks via IP-over-HF.
