Wärtsilä has been selected to lead a battery extension project for the Wasaline ROPAX ferry 'Aurora Botnia.' The project will increase the ferry's battery capacity from 2.2 MWh to 12.6 MWh, making it the largest marine battery hybrid system in operation.
