Korean Air and LIG Nex1 have announced a collaboration to enter South Korea's 'Block-I Electronic Warfare System Development Project'. This initiative aims to provide the Republic of Korea Air Force with an advanced airborne electronic warfare platform. The project, backed by a KRW1.7775 trillion (USD1.2 billion) investment, involves research and development by selected South Korean companies. The Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA) has been accepting bids since July, with the final proposal expected in early September.
