Calvin Ridley left Tennessee Titans’ practice earlier this week with what appeared to be a calf injury. It was later reported that he was just cramping. If you have been a Titans fan for any period of time, you know how scary it is when receivers leave with some type of soft tissue issue. We have seen things that looked minor end up costing guys weeks and weeks.
That doesn’t appear to be the case with Ridley. Brian Callahan said this morning that Ridley was just cramping, but that they will give him
a day off today for rest. Callahan has been really upfront about injuries since he got here, so we can take him at his word on this one. I don’t need to tell you how important Ridley is to this team in 2025.
Callahan did say that T’Vondre Sweat is day to day with an injury and will not practice today. Again, no reason for a ton of concern here unless this thing stretches out for more than a week.
