It didn’t come in a video from General Manager Nick Aldis — yet, anyway. But WWE has added three new matches and a promo segment to the line-up for SmackDown in San Antonio tonight (July 18).
No word on when the winners will challenge The Wyatt Sicks for the WWE Tag belts, but Fraxiom, Motor City Machine Guns, #DIY, and the new official team of Andrade & Rey Fenix will battle in a 4-way to determine the #1 contenders for the titles held by Joe Gacy & Dexter Lumis.
An interesting pair of women’s matches
are on the card: Charlotte Flair and. Raquel Rodriguez go one-on-one as the Women’s Tag title program continues, and, fresh off her Evolution battle royal win, Stephanie Vaquer takes on Alba Fyre.
Plus, Jacob Fatu will be on hand to continue his issues with United States champion Solo Sikoa and his MFTs.
Those all join the already announced Cody Rhodes/John Cena segment, which is now just being promoted as a contract signing rather than the more interesting-sounding teaser that the American Nightmare and the Undisputed WWE champ would be “UNDER ONE ROOF”.
