The Pittsburgh Steelers are set to return to the practice field on Tuesday, and this time, the pads are on for the first time in 2025. Before practice, though, the Steelers have waived several players.
The Steelers have waived wide receiver Montana Lemonious-Craig and outside linebacker Jeremiah Moon with injury designations. The Steelers also made the release of running back/kick returner Cordarrelle Patterson official, as well.
Lemonious-Craig was having a nice stretch of days in camp, developing
a connection with Will Howard during team drills. Moon has appeared in 21 games over the last two seasons, including a defensive start last season in Las Vegas against the Raiders.
In conjunction with these moves, the Steelers have signed defensive tackle Domenique Davis, tight end Kevin Foelsch, and running back Lew Nichols.
Pittsburgh will take the field in preseason play for the first time next Saturday, August 9th, against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
