Barely a year after his return to Chelsea, João Félix has moved on and joined Saudi Pro League club Al-Nassr in a €30m transfer that could go up to €50m with various unspecified add-ons.
In this second stint at Chelsea, Félix performed his usual act, impressing when playing against teams well below his level in the UEFA Conference League, but not really pulling his weight when it mattered the most. He spent the second half of the season on loan at AC Milan (doing the same act as well) before finding
himself in the Bomb Squad this summer, training alongside the likes of Ben Chilwell and Raheem Sterling.
For the longest time it seemed certain that Félix would end up going back to Benfica, where his amazing professional debut turned into a blockbuster €126m transfer to Atlético Madrid back in 2019. But at the end of day money talks, not to mention the chance to link up with Cristiano Ronaldo and manager Jorge Jesus.
Best of luck!
