Austin, Stallone, Jericho, and Jimmy Hart pay tribute to Hulk Hogan

WHAT'S THE STORY?

The wrestling world is still reacting to the shocking death of WWE legend Hulk Hogan at 71 years old following a cardiac arrest incident on Thursday.

Our latest batch of reactions come from some very big names like “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, Sylvester Stallone, and Chris Jericho.

Austin famously didn’t want to work with Hulk at WrestleMania 18, but he eventually got over his issues with the Hogan and now says the influence of Hulkamania will live forever.

“Hulk Hogan was born to be a Professional Wrestler. Larger than life. Charisma for days. He was in a stratosphere all on his own. His contributions are immense. His influence will be forever.
Hulkamania lives on.
My condolences to his family and loved ones.”

Hollywood megastar Sylvester Stallone inducted Hogan into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2005, many years after working with him in the Rocky III movie. Stallone says his heart is broken after learning of Hogan’s death.

“I had the pleasure of meeting this brilliant personality and showman when he was 26 years old. He was absolutely wonderful and his amazing skill made Rocky three incredibly special. My heart breaks. I think that he’s gone…”

AEW star Chris Jericho thanked his childhood hero for paving the way for everyone that followed him in the wrestling business.

“When I started in WCW, I had the pleasure of meeting one of my childhood heroes, then years later in WWE, I had a blast with him entertaining millions…the same way he had entertained me for many years. Thank you for everything Hulkster…you paved the way for all of us. Please Say your prayers and eat your vitamins everybody….you just never know.”

Finally, here is Hogan’s very close friend Jimmy Hart, who just earlier this week disputed a rumor that Hogan was on his deathbed, going so far as to say that Hogan’s “heart is strong.” Jimmy reacted to Hogan’s death by echoing the sentiment that Hulkamania will live forever.
