Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg has tracked down some details on Bayern Munich’s transaction with Celta Vigo for Bryan Zaragoza:
⚪️ EXCL | Bryan #Zaragoza to Celta Vigo is considered a done deal.
A full agreement with FC Bayern on a loan with an obligation to buy has now been reached.
⤵️ More exclusive details on Bryan #Zaragoza: €13m obligation to buy will be triggered based on a realistic number of appearances, and Celta Vigo finishing at least between 11th and 13th in the league table.
ADThere were follow-up questions, but it should be clear — even though a word was missing: In addition to the appearances, they must finish at least between 11th and 13th.
This is an interesting set-up for the arrangement, but it does get Bayern Munich back into a range where it does not feel like acquiring Zaragoza in the first place was a complete waste of funds.
In addition, that is probably as good as it will get right now for Zaragoza — especially when everyone knows Bayern Munich has no use for him.
