Bayern Munich is still in the process of strengthening the first team’s ranks and nearly every effort made so far has been a dead end. The Bavarians have had a rough outing in the transfer window, and it looks like rumored target Renato Veiga may not end up in their colors:
Bayern like Renato Veiga’s profile but are not in the race for him at the moment. The defender is in positive talks with Atlético Madrid and is open to a move to the Spanish capital.

The Rekordmeister still wants to offload Kim Min-jae and bring in a more reliable defender. The idea, while novel, is not aligned with the priorities of the club. The Chelsea FC defender is unlikely to sign for the Germans per Fabrizio Romano:
⚪️ Understand Renato Veiga said yes to Atlético Madrid! No issues on personal terms.

Atlético and Chelsea remain in direct talks for Renato Veiga, as reported over the weekend.

The goal is to get one or two attacking players to add more firepower to a Bayern front line that can still get better.
