30 Day Countdown: Day 13- Best Future Pro

WHAT'S THE STORY?

The roster has changed pretty dramatically in the past couple of years, but in year two coach Fisch has brought stability to the roster as well as top-end talent. Today, we take a look at some players we think have the brightest NFL careers in their future. No player is exempt, including ones eligible for the 2026 draft.

Adam Mohammed

Using a projection for the first player on the list, Mohammed has all the makings of a future pro RB. List at 6’0 215, he looks like he was made in a laboratory to be

the perfect RB. A strong and powerful runner, he is also patient and waits for his blockers. As he continues to improve at catching passes and picking up blitzes this season, he will continue to build up his resume to be an NFL RB with a promising future.

John Mills

I mentioned it in a previous article, but ideally you want to let true freshman OL redshirt and spend a year in the weight room before they see the field. Mills is making it hard on his coaches to make that happen because he is at worst, second on the depth chart, and he is likely going to be pushing for starting time before the season is over. He will likely begin his career in the interior of the OL, but at 6’6 320 he has the length and foot speed to be an OT as well. Between his measurables and nasty streak on the field, it isn’t hard to picture NFL GMs falling in love with him.

Dylan Robinson

I promise, he is the last one I chose that is based purely on projection! Unlike Mills, Robinson likely won’t win the starting CB job in his true freshman year. Senior CBs Tacario Davis and Ephesians Prysock have those spots locked down (no pun intended). Despite that, there is something to be said about a true freshman earning the backup spot behind them in arguably the most talented position group on the team. Yes, there is a lot of youth in that room, but that didn’t stop Robinson from shining in fall camp and outperforming other talented CBs on the roster who had spring ball as extra practices. Robinson is a talented athlete with great length at the position and a player to look forward to for the next few years ahead.

Tacario Davis

When I was first putting this list together, I had Davis as my top pick. The league has evolved to put a premium on lengthy CBs and at 6’4, Davis more than fits the bill. He has shown prolific skill during his entire collegiate career and I fully expect him to bring that to the NFL as well. You would like to see more interceptions from a lockdown corner like him, but his 15 PD in 2023 show that he still has ball skills to be feared.

Denzel Boston

Tough not to pick the 6’3 WR who is a projected first round pick as the best future pro. Don’t get me wrong, I truly believe everyone on this list will have at least a good NFL career, but Boston has the potential to be the best of the bunch. Besides his size, Boston is excellent at winning contested catches, has a knack for getting open, and is an asset in run blocking.
