Report: Nick Woltemade transfer ‘unlikely’, but Bayern Munich won’t stop with Luis Díaz deal

According to a report from The Athletic (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Luis Díaz will be the “biggest” signing of the summer for Bayern Munich and an agreement with VfB Stuttgart for Nick Woltemade is “unlikely.”

In addition, Bayern Munich is also holding out hope that RB Leipzig attacker Xavi Simons is going to reconsider his desire to move to England:

still at least four months away from playing again, Serge Gnabry into the final year of his contract and having turned 30 this month and Coman’s future uncertain.

An agreement for Nick Woltemade remains unlikely, with two offers already rejected, but interest in Xavi Simons remains.

The Woltemade news could be a big disappointment to many Bayern Munich fans if the Bavarians cannot find a way to get a deal done with Stuttgart. Meanwhile, getting Simons still feels like a really long shot for Bayern Munich.

Per this report, though, one thing seems certain...there will be action.
