Hardys win TNA tag titles in ladder match at Slammiversary

WHAT'S THE STORY?

The Hardys entered Slammiversary (July 20, 2025) unsure about their future. If they can’t still be one of the best tag teams in the world, then it may be time to call it quits. Well, that notion will be put to rest for now, because the Hardys won the TNA World Tag Team Championship in a ladder match. If that wasn’t enough, Bully Ray made a surprise appearance with a proposal. It looks like the Hardys will wrestle Team 3D one last time at Bound For Glory.

the Nemeths, First Class, and the Rascalz. Fire up the highlight reel.

Myron Reed leaped over the ropes from his Flame On cutter to Ryan Nemeth off the apron.

Baseball legend Johnny Damon shoved Ryan Nemeth for fun.

AJ Francis executed a moonsault off a ladder.

The key to winning a ladder match is taking out the competition. First Class was first to crash and burn when the Rascalz tipped over the ladder. Francis and KC Navarro bombed down outside. Top Dolla is lucky his legs didn’t explode on the landing. Hopefully he was wearing a protective cup too.

The Hardys disposed of the Rascalz when Jeff landed a Swanton Bomb atop ladders. The ladders didn’t break, so Jeff went for a second Swanton.

With all the ladders broken, Jeff had a new plan. A rope ladder dropped from high above. On the way to victory, the Hardys had sweet satisfaction for a double Twist of Fate to their rivals with chairs around the Nemeth necks. Matt held down the rope ladder to stabilize for Jeff to climb for glory. The Hardys are now four-time TNA world tag team champions.

Business picked up after the match when Bully Ray entered the scene. He spoke respectfully about the wars between the Hardys and Team 3D. They made history together 25 years ago in the first-ever tag team tables match. There’s always been talk about which team is more successful. Bully requested one final match against the Hardys to give the fans a treat. Team 3D want to get the tables for Bound For Glory on October 12 in Lowell, MA.
