During the NFL’s offseason, three of the four teams in the AFC North have faced some kind of drama or off-field issues. The Cleveland Browns joined that list with the arrest of RB Quinshon Judkins (by far the most serious issue on this list). The Pittsburgh Steelers finally got a deal done with OLB TJ Watt, but those negotiations included some difficult moments similar to DE Trey Hendrickson’s with the Cincinnati Bengals (Still unresolved).
The Bengals also don’t have a deal with their first-round
pick heading into training camp while the Steelers were desperate at quarterback, so they signed Aaron Rodgers, who is on the other side of 40 heading into the season.
Pittsburgh also seemed to downgrade their defense in a trade to upgrade their offense and put a lot of pressure on FS Juan Thornhill, a failed Browns free agent.
Then there are the Baltimore Ravens, the reigning AFC North champions. The Ravens mostly plowed ahead with their roster intact while adding WR DeAndre Hopkins, CB Jaire Alexander and CB Chidobe Awuzie.
Heading into training camps, Baltimore is clearly the favorite with FanDuel odds at -150. Cincinnati is second (+250) in what is believed to be a two-team race with Pittsburgh behind at +500.
Nothing compares to Cleveland’s +3200. In fact, due to the combination of low expectations and the quality of the AFC North, no other team has worse odds to take their division in 2025.
So we bring it to you, Browns fans and our DBN community. Who do you think wins the AFC North this year? Vote in the poll below, then share your thoughts in the comment section:
