You probably have noticed one of the hot topics that has been bandied about in these virtual pages of late: what to do about the struggles of Bryson Stott. I asked the question the other day:

The easiest thing is to give more time to Sosa. As I’ve written probably more times that you would have liked this week, the change from Stott to Sosa doesn’t really give the team much of a dropoff in terms of production; it’s just that there is a bit more thump in Sosa’s bat than in what Stott can provide.
I’d
love to be proven wrong!
A good chunk of you think the platoon should stay in place and if Friday night’s game was any indication, it will be. Stott came out of the gate after the break in the starting lineup, but once the situation called for it, Sosa was hitting in his place. Is that the way it’ll happen later on? Right now, that looks like the plan (we’ll see what happens today), but maybe it shouldn’t be that way. Maybe Sosa should be seeing the lion’s share of time.
