It has been barely a week since the Seattle Seahawks opted to move on from tight end Noah Fant, creating some additional cap space for the team and rendering Fant a free agent.
Just days after the transaction, Fant met with the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday, followed by a free agent visit with the New Orleans Saints on Friday. However, apparently nothing to Fant’s liking materialized out of either of those meetings, and Fant’s free agent tour reportedly is continuing Monday with a stop in South Florida
to meet with the Miami Dolphins.

It’s Fant’s third visit, having already met with the #Bengals and #Saints, as he continues to draw significant interest. Miami recently traded TE Jonnu Smith to Pittsburgh. pic.twitter.com/BRH50Sb4ur
The Dolphins have made a pair of trades involving tight ends in recent weeks, trading Jonnu Smith to the Pittsburgh Steelers, and also acquiring Darren Waller from the New York Giants.
Miami is an intriguing potential landing spot for Fant, with Miami head coach Mike McDaniel having shown a notable ability to take advantage of the athleticism and playmaking abilities of his offensive players, including Tyreek Hill, Raheem Mostert, Jaylen Waddle and others.
