The Chargers have officially unveiled their new alternate uniforms that will make their debut during the 2025 season and they include a new navy uniform that honors the late 2000s teams and their dominance behind LaDainian Tomlinson and Antonio Gates, along with a new gold top and powder blue pants to help round out their entire team wardrobe.

The navy uniforms are nicknamed “Super Chargers” and the gold uniform is called “Charger Power.”

Here’s a photo of all their looks and combinations:

If you haven’t seen the hype video to go with the release, here you go as well:

The more recent navy alternate uniforms have not been kind to the Chargers. Hopefully these new threads can help invoke the style of play that propelled the Chargers to some of their best seasons this century.

As for the golds, that one may take some time to get used to. There’s been a lot of unofficial jersey for sale using the gold as the primary color, but the Chargers had never actually pulled the trigger on making it an official team look. Now, if you were a fan, you can wear them with pride instead of being the hipster in the crowd.

Overall, I think we all knew deep down this was the direction they were going. If you like them, then great. If you don’t, well you may only have to see them for a game or two each year. I think the aesthetic can vary wildly depending on the accessories used alongside the tops and bottoms. Powder blue pants with powder blue almost looks a bit much. All of the gold all at once can also seem a bit overwhelming.

However, we’ll just have to see how they look finalized and on the field for game days.

Go hop in the comments to let us know all of your thoughts on the team’s new looks!
