The Dallas Cowboys saw wide receiver Parris Campbell with an injury on Saturday and while early reports were that nothing was serious, the exact severity of what was wrong was unknown. This changed on Monday when Calvin Watkins of The Dallas Morning News reported that Campbell has an MCL sprain in his knee.
Update on some injuries: Cowboys WR Parris Campbell has a MCL sprain in his knee, according to a person with knowledge of the injury.

It goes without saying that this is better than the worst case
scenario. Time will tell how long Campbell is out if he misses time as far as training camp is concerned.
As far as the rest of the roster, it remains difficult to project/predict how many receivers the Cowboys will carry. CeeDee Lamb, George Pickens, Jalen Tolbert, KaVontae Turpin and Jonathan Mingo all seem like locks (there is admittedly room for debate on Mingo). If the Cowboys carry a sixth then Campbell is potentially it.
Obviously there is a lot of time to go before those decisions are made.
