By now, regular readers of Pinstripe Alley have likely already seen the various announcements about a change in website layout. First things first: check those two short posts out if you haven’t already,
just to get up to speed. They’re good ideas! This isn’t an instance of changing things just to change things. The infrastructure and presentation will be better this way.*
*Alas, this change does nothing about Yankees personnel during this lackluster stretch.
Anyway, site overhauls do take a little time to put into place. We’ll have the game thread for the Yankees’ Monday night showdown with the Rangers ready early because we will have no new articles after 5pm on Monday. You should still be able to comment on the game thread and on other posts on Pinstripe Alley, but when you don’t see our standard programming in the many hours that follow—game recap, links roundup, Today on Pinstripe Alley, minor league recap, etc.—that’s why.
We should be back in business late Tuesday morning and we’ll likely catch up on at least a few of those aforementioned features. Starting on Tuesday, if you wish to comment on pieces, you will have to follow the new login process. Don’t worry, it’s not labor-intensive. Just to link to it again, you can check it out here.
Thank you for your patience and for helping make Pinstripe Alley one of the best Yankees sites out there!
