According to a report from Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg, Borussia Dortmund is attempting to keep Chelsea FC midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka after hosting the 21-year-old on loan during the second half of last season:
⚫️ As reported in our show on Friday, there is still no agreement between Borussia Dortmund and Chelsea regarding Carney #Chukwuemeka.
Chelsea’s clear intention is a sale, not a loan. It remains unclear whether this would be interesting or feasible for #BVB.
Chukwuemeka is held in high
regard at Chelsea, but their roster is overloaded. Borussia Dortmund has a decent chance of getting its man if the price is right.
With a move for Hugo Ekitiké getting close, the reality is that Bayern Munich is likely going to get Luis Diaz…whether fans like it or not. Bayern Munich has reportedly also exited talks with VfB Stuttgart to focus on a deal for Diaz. It might also just be time for Bayern Munich to rip off the band-aid and sell Kim Min-jae, João Palhinha, and Sacha Boey. Finally, we have a note Bayer Leverkusen’s CEO and his recent slam on Bayern.
