The Tennessee Titans made a roster move this morning, signing wide receiver Matt Landers and releasing wide receiver Colton Dowell. Landers went undrafted in the 2023 NFL Draft but was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Seattle Seahawks. He has bounced around in the last two years, also spending time with the Carolina Panthers, Cleveland Browns, and New England Patriots, as well as some time in the XFL. It hasn’t worked out for Landers so far, but he’s got the physical tools to play in the league:

The 6-foot-4, 200-pound Landers ran the 40-yard dash in a blazing 4.37 seconds. Landers also jumped a 37" vertical + 10-foot-10 broad.
Has been all over in 2 seasons, including the UFL. https://t.co/hv00OyHglg
Maybe the Titans can unlock something here.
To make room on the roster for Landers, the Titans cut Colton Dowell. The seventh round pick from the 2023 NFL Draft spent most of his time with the team rehabbing from a torn ACL that he suffered in week 17 of his rookie season.
On word of caution from a veteran Titans fan, don’t fall in love with Landers. He just seems like a guy that is going to do some spectacular things between now and September, but ultimately flames out.
