John surgery.

Today’s lineup features all of the normal starters except one — Sal Frelick. Frelick made his return from a hamstring injury yesterday, going 1-for-4 with a strikeout. No news of re-injury has surfaced, so the Brewers are probably just bringing him along slowly to make sure he stays healthy.

Eric Haase will get the start at catcher today, with Isaac Collins shifting to right in place of Frelick and Brice Turang taking his spot as the leadoff hitter. Christian Yelich will play left field and William Contreras will DH. Other than that, the lineup is business as usual.

Also, a quick update on Nick Mears after he reportedly hurt his back while warming up for his appearance in Friday’s game:

Today’s game will be broadcast on FanDuel Sports Wisconsin and the Brewers Radio Network. First pitch is slated for 1:10 p.m.
