The Crew has an opportunity to right the ship today after two straight losses to the Miami Marlins.
On the mound for the Brewers is Brandon Woodruff, who has been great (1.65 ERA, 1.92 xFIP) in three starts since returning from the IL. Woodruff made his comeback start against the Marlins back on July 6th, going six innings while allowing just two hits and a single earned run. Miami will start right-hander Eury Perez, who has an 3.23 ERA (2.78 FIP) through eight starts since coming back from Tommy
John surgery.
Today’s lineup features all of the normal starters except one — Sal Frelick. Frelick made his return from a hamstring injury yesterday, going 1-for-4 with a strikeout. No news of re-injury has surfaced, so the Brewers are probably just bringing him along slowly to make sure he stays healthy.
Eric Haase will get the start at catcher today, with Isaac Collins shifting to right in place of Frelick and Brice Turang taking his spot as the leadoff hitter. Christian Yelich will play left field and William Contreras will DH. Other than that, the lineup is business as usual.
Also, a quick update on Nick Mears after he reportedly hurt his back while warming up for his appearance in Friday’s game:
Brewers will know more tomorrow on Nick Mears, with Pat Murphy saying he felt much better today.

Craig Yoho is on hand in case an IL move is needed.
Today’s game will be broadcast on FanDuel Sports Wisconsin and the Brewers Radio Network. First pitch is slated for 1:10 p.m.
