Last summer, Bayern Munich acquired Michael Olise in a €60M deal with Crystal Palace. The 22-year old French winger had only scored 14 goals in three Premier League seasons but Bayern’s scouts were confident in his ability to succeed in the Bundesliga.
In his inaugural season at Bayern, Olise enjoyed the best season of his career. He scored 17 goals, earned 17 assists, and celebrated the first team title of his career. Including stats from the FIFA Club World Cup and national team appearances, Olise joined
Liverpool’s Mo Salah and Barcelona’s Raphinha in scoring 20 goals and 20 assists.
In honor of his achievements, Bayern’s fans officially voted Olise as the club’s Player of the Season (via FCBayern.com).

Ironically, Harry Kane finished in third place behind Olise and Thomas Müller, despite Kane being awarded the Bundesliga Player of the Year honor after winning the league’s Golden Boot for the second consecutive season.
