Wednesday, July 30th

DAZN, 5:50 am ET, Kenshiro Teraji vs Ricardo Sandoval. For Teraji’s WBA and WBC flyweight titles. An encouraging sign in the first week of the post-Top Rank on ESPN era, as DAZN picks up the sort of pre-dawn Japan card that used to be an ESPN+ staple. Less encouraging is that the show starts at 5:50, and the only fight listed in the capsule is the main event. The undercard, if we get to see it, features Erick Rosa defending his WBA belt at 108 lbs. against Kyosuke Takami and Antonio Vargas vs Daigo

Saturday, August 2nd

DAZN, 8:00 pm ET, Oscar Duarte vs Kenneth Sims Jr. From Chicago, Illinois, which isn’t something we often say about a notable boxing event! Fun little fight that would have been a potential show stealer once upon a time, but now headlines in the modern Saudi boxing landscape. Chief support here is Regis Prograis vs JoJo Diaz. This card wasn’t on our live coverage calendar until Prograis-Diaz was announced and I asked Scott if he wanted me to cover it. So, did Scott briefly overlook Duarte-Sims, undermining the theory of the omniscient [boxing website] creator? Or, are Regis Prograis and JosephJoseph the real appeal here in 2025 – a clear harbinger of the end times? Either answer has horrifying theological implications. BLH will have live updates
