According to a report from Sport Bild journalist Tobi Altschäffl (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), VfB Stuttgart is setting a deadline of August 16th for ay club to make a move for Nick Woltemade:
VfB Stuttgart are discussing setting a deadline for a potential Nick Woltemade transfer. Any offers would have to arrive before the Super Cup against Bayern on August 16. After that, Stuttgart would close the door to a move and not listen to any offers regardless of how high they are. Bayern have not contacted
ADVfB since the last offer (€50m + €5m) was rejected. The club has decided to play the patience game, knowing that Woltemade remains determined to move to Munich.
Bayern Munich might or might not truly be on the clock here, but the Bavarians have genuine interest in the Germany international. With rumors swirling that Harry Kane could leave the club after the season, the important of getting Woltemade has heightened greatly in recent days.
The Bavarians finalized the much-anticipated signing of Luis Díaz from Liverpool FC to give the team a new look at left-wing? Will the 28-year-old get an early starting nod or will Vincent Kompany hold him out a bit longer? That will be just one of the key decisions made for the match against Olympique Lyon at the Allianz Arena.
