Marcell Ozuna and Rasiel Iglesias are still with the Braves right now and possibly for the rest of the season. Players can still be traded after the 31st, but there are more hoops to clear if they want to do that. I’m annoyed and most Braves fans are aggravated, and I don’t blame them.
Braves GM: Alex Anthopoulos: We were not just going to give guys away and dump salary.

The Braves general manager said they weren’t going to give away players. Why exactly, is weird. We looked at trading Marcell Ozuna
earlier this year, and concluded that the return would be pretty minimal. This was in June, before Marcell drug himself to the All-Star Break with his hip injury. But at this point, there’s no season to save and I would have taken what I could get. That could have been some salary relief and a rando minor league reliever that can’t throw straight, but it’s something. But did you all want more?
Did you want Ozuna and Iglesias gone more than the prospect return? There’s no judgements here, they largely stunk out loud for much of the season. Do you even want to see these players play for your team? The Braves’ season never got off the ground, save the series at Fenway Park. And no one but the third base coach has faced any punishment. If you want blood, tell me about it.
